The 4th Sunday of Lent - March 11, 2018

Brothers and Sisters
This season of Lent is given to us for our spiritual growth and ongoing conversion. Our readings remind us that God has shown mercy throughout history. An understanding of Israel’s painful exile and God’s ongoing fidelity are important for us and our own review of how God’s mercy has been reflected in our personal lives. Today, we have another chance to make this story our own. I pray that with the arrival of Easter Sunday that we may not only rejoice that we have been given the the gift of eternal life but that we have come closer to achieving the goal of being united in Christ.
